"Trajectory" is the new single from Craig Carrington (Nights on Venus) and the second advance instrumental track from the forthcoming album to be released in late 2023.
Again, this song is 'from the vault' and was originally recorded under a different working title all the way back in late 1994, early '95, but never released. It was part of some original material recorded for an album project during the time I was in the band Kerouac Deadbeats in Denver. That material was also my first foray into recording my own music in the small studio I had at the time (in the equally small studio apartment I was inhabiting in the Gotham City Apartments in Capitol Hill - no seriously, you can't make this shit up). It was very bare bones - I recorded using a 12-track mixer and running directly into a 2-track cassette deck, so it was (mostly) binaural. "Trajectory" was found last fall on the original cassette tape from 28 years ago. So when I say it's 'from the vault', it really is, revised and re-envisioned of course, now. More to come...
